I discovered the magic of molten glass when I first arrived in Victoria in 2001 and instantly fell in love with melting and the West Coast. I quickly turned my fascination of flamework into creating jewelry and selling at local Farmers markets. To this day I create designs imbedded with the wonder of the West Coast and inspired by natures sublime beauty. Twenty-five years later, I still call Vancouver Island home and find inspiration in this magical place everyday.

I initially worked with glass for the love of the medium and as a creative outlet. However after creating a memorial necklace for my Auntie with cremation ash following the loss of her mother, my grandmother (the anchor in our family), everything changed. This led me to create cremation pieces for the rest of my family, seeing the comfort it brought to them inspired me to develop my Memorial Cremation Ash Jewelry and Keepsake Collections. What began as an act of love has grown into my life's purpose, allowing me to help others through my glass art creations.

Losing my father at the age of four deeply shaped my understanding of grief and the importance of holding onto memories and finding healthy ways to heal very early in my life. Witnessing how my family, especially my grandmother, processed loss planted a deep desire in me to help others from a young age. I've seen how grief shapes people—and how art, connection and community filled with love can help heal. What a blessing glassblowing has brought into my life.
